Job Summary
The Diving and ROV Auditor is responsible for conducting systematic audits and assessments of diving and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., IMCA, IOGP, ISO). This role plays a vital part in maintaining operational safety, verifying contractor competence, and driving continuous improvement in subsea operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and verify that all subsea activities are carried out in line with project specifications, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marine Science, or related technical field (preferred).
Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial diving or ROV operations, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or audit role.
IMCA Diving Supervisor (Surface Supplied / Saturation) or ROV Supervisor certification (essential).
Certified Auditor qualification (IRCA/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent) (preferred).
In-depth understanding of IMCA D023/D024/D040/D018, R006/R004, IOGP 411, and other relevant standards.
Familiarity with diving and ROV support vessels, DP operations, LARS, control rooms, and subsea tooling.
Valid BOSIET, H2S, offshore medical, and travel documents as required.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
