Job Summary

The Offshore Surveyor is responsible for acquiring, validating, and delivering accurate geospatial and positioning data to support subsea construction, pipeline inspection, geophysical surveys, and ROV operations. The role includes system setup, calibration, real-time data monitoring, and quality control in line with project and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee safety compliance and participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Surveying, or related field.

  • 2+ years offshore survey experience in hydrographic or geophysical projects.

  • Proficiency in survey software (e.g., QINSy, NaviPac, EIVA, ).

  • Experience working on vessels, barges, or rigs in subsea or marine environments.

Preferences

  • BOSIET / FOET

  • Offshore Medical Certificate (OGUK or equivalent)

  • H2S Awareness (if required by project)
